The Essentials

Rooms:  The hotel has 69 bedrooms and suites located over five floors. Each room is individually decorated with sumptuous fabrics and furnishings, all designed to offer supreme comfort and a good night’s sleep.  Families can choose to stay in connecting rooms or a two-bedroom suite. Rooms range over five categories. The hotel’s suites offer true indulgence. Guests can choose between Junior Suites and Belgravia One and Two-bedroom Suites. The jewel in the crown is The Royal Suite – an exceptional suite with two bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms that spans the entire length of the building and has a balcony overlooking The Goring Gardens.

Location:  Offering the perfect location nestled in Belgravia, The Goring is proud to be the closest hotel to Buckingham Palace. This fantastic London location offers guests easy access to Knightsbridge, Mayfair and more – perfect for shopping and theatre, work and play.  The Goring is 13 miles (20 kilometers) from London’s Heathrow (LHR) Airport.

Spa:  While there are no Spa services on-site, The Goring pampers their guests with their impeccable service and hospitality.  In 2013, Her Majesty The Queen awarded The Goring a Royal Warrant, making it the only hotel in the world to have received such a mark of recognition for hospitality services.

Dining:  Designed by David Linley, The Dining Room is bathed in natural light by day and sumptuously aglow with Swarovski chandeliers at night. It is beautifully elegant – a place where traditional and delicious British food triumphs. The Goring is proud to be the holder of its first Michelin star, three AA Rosettes and is the only Relais & Châteaux hotel restaurant in London. The Dining Room offers an impeccable yet fun dining experience, under the direction of Executive Chef Shay Cooper.  The English breakfast served daily in The Dining Room is an absolute highlight, so be sure to take advantage of this valuable Virtuoso amenity that is included when you book with Avant Travel.  The Afternoon Tea at The Goring is another can’t-miss indulgence.  The hotel has been perfecting the art of Afternoon Tea since it opened its doors over a century ago. As the holder of The British Tea Guild Council’s Top London Afternoon Tea Award and The Award of Excellence, The Goring continues to delight guests with delicious pastries, fruity homemade jams and high quality tea blends.  Guests can choose to take their tea in The Terrace overlooking The Goring Gardens, in the cozy surroundings of The Lounge or outside on The Veranda in the summer months.

Pool & Gym: Although no recreational facilities are on-site, the hotel provides free access to the neighborhood’s most comprehensive health club, one with a pool, sauna and gym.

Wifi:  Complimentary WiFi throughout and a 24-hour business suite.
